CCanopies for Metal Craft's® 4000 & 5000 Vertical Boat Lifts

Metal Craft® provides a quality CLOSED END canopy that has a number of desirable features.

Accommodating Boats & Providing Protection

• Provides traditional, complete 4-sided protection for regular and pontoon boats. The front and back of the boat is more fully protected from rain, sun, UV, etc.

Methods of Fastening Cover

• Canopies fasten using bungee cords. The cords have metal hooks that attach to a sewn-in ring on the cover at one end and to a punched hole in each aluminum canopy rib at the other.

Bracing Kit

• Canopies include gusset braces that are used to provide additional strength and support on the canopy end with the greatest offset/overhang. This feature is standard (note: braces are compatible only with 2009 & later Metal Craft Vertical Boat Lifts).

End Vents & Logos

• Canopies have end vents, with an outside flap. They have the Metal Craft® logo on one end. And, they come black edge trim that matches the lift's bunks and winch wheels.

Choice of Cover Material

• SUNBRELLA® FABRIC - Considered to be the best marine fabric made. It is a heavy duty 9.0 ounce per yard weight. SUNBRELLA®'s fade resistance, durability and ease of cleaning make are legendary. It offers superior water resistance by utilizing a durable polyurethane undercoating. SUNBRELLA®'s advertising claims the performance difference is clearly visible -- hold SUNBRELLA® and other fabrics up to the sunlight -- others appear to be full of pinholes. SUNBRELLA is a registered trademark of Glen Raven, Inc and has a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
• COVERTUFF(TM) VINYL - A heavy duty 16 ounce per yard that is easy to clean, more pliable than laminated vinyl, is UV resistant, resists cracking and peeling, rot & fungus resistant, won't stretch or shrink, resists mildew and is softer with less wrinkling. COVERTUFF is a trademark of Shoremaster Fabric Products and has a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
